Getting Around Hope Town
If you plan on exploring the island, or are staying out of town, there are two modes of transportation available. To get from one side of the island to the other, you can rent a golf cart. Although golf carts are not allowed within Hope Town, they are allowed from the Post Office to the South end of the island. There is a lot for short term parking right across from the Post Office. If you are staying on the North end of Elbow Cay, golf carts are only allowed until you get to the Baseball field and pool. There is a small parking lot across from the Bank for parking. If you would like, you can also rent bicycles. Bicycles are allowed anywhere on the island, even in town.
